My experience with General Transmission was a good one and I did not experience any any problems at all.

They did what the said they would and even changed my spark plugs while my transmission was being rebuilt.

They provided me with a car so that I could still get to work while my car was being serviced. I would recommend General Transmission to everyone.

"Best vehicle repair I have ever encountered in my 55 years of life..."

What a great experience to deal with Mark and his company!! My truck operates so much better, and I did not even know there was a problem till the transmission had completely gone out. Mark told me it had been slipping for quite a while and I had no idea.

I just towed my 10,000 lb. 27 foot boat to and from Anacortes and it has never pulled better! Gas mileage increased 20% due to the new transmission holding the gear and not downshifting and increasing RPM's.

Mark even drove to another repair facility and picked up the vehicle, with no charge. I can not express how happy I am with General Transmission. I say this after 20 years working at a local Ford dealership, so I do have knowledge of what it takes to run a repair shop.

"In case any of you are in need of transmission work, I just had the best experience with General Transmission in Kent, WA. It was well worth the drive.

It's a no frills, no latte's kind of place, but the service was great.

They kept me informed every step of the way from diagnosis, ordering of parts, repair and testing, plus when they heard I had to take it down to the dealership to get the windshield wipers done after they were through, they said we will drive it down there for you so you don't have to make an extra trip.

My Mini is now back on the road running smoothly plus it was 1/2 of the cost that I could find anyone else to do it for.

Way to go General Transmission, I'm a fan!"

I’m taking the Jeep back to him in a couple weeks for some more refurbishment.

General Transmission was one of the first I tried...and I just happened to get Mark, the owner. To be honest, he said, without knowing what the problem was I should just bring it in & have it diagnosed. I'd only pay for what they repaired, which would probably be alot less than a complete rebuild.

I called a couple of other places, but didn't get a good feeling from them, and with the free tow...well...I decided to trust Mark.
